I am so tired of hearing about how something made a grown ass adult uncomfortable. I recognize that not all women feel empowered enough to speak out but that’s a teaching moment. I’d still be making significantly less than what I want if I didn’t ask for more money. I had to learn that in my 20s. And while yes I know that wage gap is a problem and continues to be, the only way to address on an individual level is to confront it. Ie if some man in your workforce has made you uncomfortable in some way (ie doing something that is nonsexual) speak tf up or get a new job. (Now if you spoke up and they continue to do things, intimidate, etc I’m not talking to you). At which point does personal agency come into play?
